How much is a course?

All our 4-week courses cost £36 and we include a free practice session which is on a Tuesday at 6 pm and Thursday at 8 pm.

How do I pay for the course?

All courses are paid in full upon booking. You can do this via bank transfer to account number 69994092 sort code 089299, reference is you full name and course you are attending. Regular payments can be made via standing order.

Can I pay on the first night?

No, all our courses are payable upon booking and you are only booked with receipt of full payment.

Can I pay for just 1 lesson to see if I like it?

If you are sure if you want to attend a 4-week course we advise you to book a private group lesson with your friends or 121 lessons. This way you can see if the club is a fit for you and what you want to achieve. You can book a private lesson by calling 01482 503020.

What happens if I cannot make every class?

Don’t worry you can catch up on classes at practice on a Monday and on a Thursday at 8 pm.

I have already done aerial, do I need to start at stage 1?

No, not at all. We would invite you a to practice session which cost £5 and one of our instructors will assess your ability and find a suitable class for you to join. If you join a course on that night your practice assessment will be free.

What do I wear for aerial hoops and silks?

We recommend that you wear leggings and a vest top. We recommend that you bring a warm hoodie or sweat top to put on for protection from the apparatus and to wear during warm-up in the cooler months of the year.

What if everyone is really good?

Don’t worry, the course is very progressive and as long as you are in good general health you shouldn’t have a problem keeping up. Remember if you book on a beginners course then everyone will be a beginner too.

Is there a weight limit for aerial hoops and silks?

You need to be able to fit in our hoop for this course unless you are very big (tall and wide) then you shouldn’t have a problem. You should be realistic about what you are going to be able to do if you are overweight. The weight itself is not always a problem we have some students who are on the heavy side but are very strong, but if you are unable to participate in general exercise and activities then you will find aerial is probably not for you.

Is there an age limit?

Yes, you have to be 16 to join the mainstream classes. We have specific slots for teenagers and children age 10 and above so please contact reception for more details. There is no upper limit as long as you are in good health.
